Saint-Loup Peak

The region of the Saint-Loup Peak is located about 20 km on north of Montpellier and its mountain is visible from much of the Hérault department as well as the Hortus facing it.

Join us in this land where wildlife shows great diversity, through protected areas and where nature offers varied landscapes of plains, scrublands, mountains and gorges. Men then can produce olive oil, honey, cheese and of course wine. We are indeed in the terroir where the wines are among the most famous of Languedoc-Roussillon vineyards.

The first glassmakers have settled in this territory in the thirteenth century, ceramics and cabinet-making are honored as well. There are also those producers, unique in Europe, which make oil after cade juniper, to use as skin elixir and insect repellent.

You will meet those men and women working for the preservation of their heritage and traditions.
